Holley 94 accelerator pumps

I have fuel running down the accelerator pump operation shaft after I turn the engine off , I’ve replaced the pump piston rubber but this hasn’t stopped it. Should the shaft have some sort of packing...

My French engine differs slightly from the one Mart shows on YouTube, although it’s been cast with the ability to be machined for governor it’s not been machined for one , it has the 8BA manifold...

French flathead oil pressure

I’ve just rebuilt my French flathead, at starter cranking speed the oil pressure was 50 psi when it started it went up to 80 psi do reckon this is too high ?

I’ve emailed them but not had a reply. Reading their small print they don’t give advice so that avenue is closed to me.It’s a pity I can’t find someone that has done it.

I want to put the whole gear set from a 1951 F1 column change into a 1950 floor change housing, I haven’t bought the column change box yet but will if it is the same internally

Yes there are several on eBay and UK sites “ sold as seen” but I would agree it would be unwise to buy something that may very well have the same problem. It’s a shame because the rest of the engine...

Would the pan rail crack be visible from outside the block or inside ,at the moment the engine is covered in grime but I’m washing it off tomorrow and taking the oil pan off
