hellow fellow barners, i had an experience with cold weather approx 42 degrees with my 29 speedster. I had it covered as we had a cold spell in southen Calif.

Yes,
Heated seats work well in a 12 volt system. I have a 29 open top speedster. I put March je moisture resistant seat heater. Works great, has a high low switch and middle position is off.

Welcome to the barn. I built a 29 Speedster from frame up. Turned out very nice. I used two 1940 delux hoods, welded them together. They made an excellent boatail shape.

I’m going to first try running gravity feed, see how that works out. Keeping the 81’s as low as possible without any phenolic spacers. Spoke to Charlie Price(Vintage Speed-Florida) he mentions...

I have a model B distributor on my A engine. Best thing I ever did, idle in consistent no issues with going uphill .

I have a question about the downdraft carbs using the carb risers 4”;6” and 8”. What significant benefit does this have installing a 2-carb set up on a model a engine.

I removed the bulb from fog lamp. It is a Carlton #1328. 32 cp single filiment.
Found a place that stocks these bulbs. Price :$17.95 ea. Also their is a lamp repair shop in n my town-Seal...

Yes they are. Stainless steel cover and one wire coming out the back. The bulb inside seems to turn as a unit. It is not a sealed beam.

I removed a small piece in the gas line near the sediment glass bowl. checked gas flow slow at first. turned the choke adjustment 3/4 to the left. It runs good now. adjusted idle down.

When the engine died, checked choke blade. Dry as a bone. Removed the gas line going to carb at first a trickle then stops, then flows more steady.
Something in the tank? Newly lined tank?
