1930 Model A front driver fender
I have a coupe, if that makes a difference. I’ll take a whole set of you have it. I can pick up, but I would prefer somewhere within 250mi of Chicago.
Thanks!

Re: Steel Wheels
I’ve always heard the raised rib on the stock drums won’t allow a later style wheel to seat properly eventually distorting the wheel. You can buy an adapter to put early style wheels on later drums,...

Re: Drag link too tight?
Thanks for your input!
I’m only using the end of the drag link that has any effect at all on length. I’m using a F1 steering box, and centered it according to instructions, and it ended up cocking...

Drag link too tight?
I’m trying to center my steering wheel by tightening the drag link end. It’s working, but I did have to tighten it quite a bit. Outside of accelerated wear, and possibly stiffer steering is there a...

Re: Begging to be a hot rod.
Amen!
I am absolutely guilty of this. With all the time, and money I’ve spent “improving” my A, I wish sometimes I had just left it the way ‘ol Henry made it.
At the same time the compulsion...

Re: 4 inch drop axle, front for 31 A
I had Okie Joe drop, and stretch my stock front axle, reverse eye leaf, ‘32 spring perches, and ‘37 Willys tie rod ends, so I could use my stock tie rod. Oh, and a T rear spring

Re: Electrical Question ???
All I know is that leds are very sensitive to interference. Could be wired completely properly, but an outside source is causing the “misfire”. I’m sure a more systematic approach is prudent, but...

Re: Any electronic experts out there
Right now, I have a copper core ignition wire set. I believe it’s 7mm. Modern ignition wires (although we’re at the point of coil on plug, so maybe not so modern anymore!) are designed to reduce...

Re: Is this head gasket seepage acceptable?
Thanks for all the responses.
I changed the head gasket to a “Best” brand copper gasket. Followed Brumfield guide (again), and even slathered the gasket with grease. So-far-so-good. I am using...
