Adjust the third brush to 14 or 15 amps. That's all you have to do.
I have the fun projects regulator and it works fine.

I did 30lbs starting at 20lbs with 5lb increments. So far no leaks!

I like that brake light. Where did you get it? Not too many drivers are aware of
the limitations of older cars.

I think I will put a thin coat of Permatex Optima High temp
sealant. Good for exhaust headers 750 degrees.

What oil are you using? Amsoil 20/50 may be the best or any 20/50 with zinc.

Well I tried everything you all recommended but no luck. Took out the starter, radius ball
and throw out bearing cover. Tried flexible magnets and even bought a borescope.
Guess I will just hope it...

The zerk is magnetic. Tried to get it out today no luck yet.
Went in with a magnet through the radius ball and the starter.
I did get a 1/4 bleeder bolt and washer out. Ordered a boroscope
from...

While I was lubricating the throw out bearing the adapter fell off.
I tried fishing it out to no avail. Can it do any harm?

Had the same issue with my 40 buick. Seemed like a fuel problem. I,m with 5lugnuts it was the condenser.

Hey Guy's, If I place a clamp on ammeter around my ground cable will it give me the correct reading. I don't know if the dash ammeter is giving me the correct reading. Thanks, Roger

I just loosened the shock links and pulled out the shock arms. At this point you can just move the arms up and down to feel the resistance. In my case there was none even after adding fluid.

Thanks TJ. I think I would like a complete running car. The body would have to be in good shape. I am much better with the mechanicals. Are the V8's reliable?
