I got it solved, dmsfrr you were right, 2 wires switched, looking at the Ford wire schematic, from the turn switch to the front turn lights the wire color changes 3 times!! Hard to see color on 70...

I only found 3 places in this area to have parts chromed, & this place was highly recommended! I have to cut him some slack since he had a stroke earlier this year & is now trying to finish his jobs....

The chrome shop will do the chrome for free if I have to purchase different ends. If he has to get them, he is going to charge me!

I have a 1954 Crestline & am looking for the L & R grille ends that attach to the front fenders, part # 8224 & 8225.They bolt to the ends of the grille,wrap around & also bolt to the front...
