Most of the cables have a flat where the head of the bolt goes, to keep the bolt from turning, and you can't get a wrench on it. My 2¢.

I know I'm older than all y'all, but I've forgotten most of what I knew in my youth, so help me out. Apatchy mostly sits nowadays but does get cranked occasionally to keep everything lubed up, etc....

If it is like the pickup, the hole on the cowl is between the choke and throttle rods.

No, cupcake, but at least it should be paper and be applied to the inside of the windshield and have some sort of "stickum" on it where it would stick to the windshield. Plastic thingies that cling...

Thanks, Pete. I ordered one for what it's worth. From what I remember of them they were paper with some type of glue on them where you wet them and stuck them on the inside of your windshield....

Tail pipes for 1939 Mercury NOS

I have two NOS Or NORS tailpipes for 39 Mercuries. I never got around to needing them for my coupe. If interested drop me a note. We may be able to swap out something or agree on what they are worth....
