44 stamped on the case.


A couple hundred or less for stock ring and pinion plus labor seems pretty reasonable. Wish I had a lift, of course.

It's totally dry, but I don't see where the brake fluid has gone. It last had plates in 1985.

Just from cranking several times in an effort to start the truck, I've got oil coming out past the seal on the oil canister lid.

I had to sacrifice the cracked wing window. Widows rolled down now to prevent locking myself out again.

I still need to get in the cab. Windows are up, wing windows locked. All the glass is good except passenger wing window.

Do I break in? Are there slim jim options?...
