Mustang is bound to be a small 5 bolt lug pattern. Certainly not 'truck-like'. The F1 would be 5 lug on 5 1/2" pattern. The mustang something like 5 on 4 1/2. Why someone would mount a small car axle...

Wilwood makes a mechanical caliper along with a disc brake rotor to mount on the driveshaft. I adapted them to my skidsteer. Often used with rear axle swaps on hot rods and 4x4 vehicles.
