i have been using a Schumacher purchased about 12 years ago for my 6V Optima battery. I just replaced the Optima this year. I believe I purchased the charger at Walmart a few years back.

Much thanks to everyone who provided their guidance. I am going to look at the inside of my tank tomorrow and I will consider sending it out to get it cleaned.

I removed my gas tank from the 40 last week. Yes indeed, the tank was snugly fitted between the frame but with a little finesse, I was able to remove it after about an hour.

That is one beautiful automobile. I was going to sell my 40 coupe when I recently bought my 40 convertible but I feel I am going to hold on to it for a bit longer.

Thank you for your prompt response.

There are currently two layers of material on the front seat. One layer is cloth and one layer is vinyl. I would guess the leather was removed long ago.

I took the block to MIke at H&H Flatheads and he said it would not be a problem to fix the crack. Mike is also going to seal the block and build a running engine for me.

Crack found during magnafluxed in my 59 block shown in the attachments. The crack is not visible with the naked eye.
