Re: Front spring perch bushings

Hmmm, In the off road world, not so much.

The opinion of some reviewers:

"Delrin is the more well known-name for polyoxymethylene, and its used for low-budget parts. This material is a hard,...

Re: Victoria with moveable stick shift

I remember an Ol' Timer telling me they used to rotate the shifter an lock it to the parking brake for an anti-theft device. No mention of trouble getting it re-engaged with the shift forks.

Re: Any help for a new guy?

Not trying to be a smart A$$ but how did it run before you "tuned it up"? We need something/somewhere to start. What exactly did Mr. Andrews tell you to do? What is the condition of the engine, etc?...

Re: New Brakes, and adjustment

Re: Vintage Precision Hub Puller

Depends on which rear hub you have. There are two different rear hubs. You need a different puller for each type. The Hub puller from Mitchell does both.

Re: Slight Grinding when shifting - transmission oil Aerated

Where do you find 85/180 oil? All I can find around here is 85W-140.

I use 85W-140 in my trans because I also use it in my Mitchell.

I'm sure he did. :)

Re: Thanks and Information

The Model A engine does not have any camshaft bearings to replace. The cam rides right in the cast iron block. I don't have an answer why Ford did it this way.
