Spark plug threads

I need to clean up the spark plug threads and I found a tap that is 7/8-18 NS.... Which i believe stands for national special. Is that the correct thread type? Thanks for your help in advance!

Hey guys, does anybody recognize the markings on this cylinder Head? I don't, and if its aftermarket I don't really want to put it on my car. Thanks for your help!

Hey guys, I'm a 21 year old mechanic that has been left a 1930 Model A from my grandfather. I have a ton of memories as a child with this car and I feel its my responsibility to keep it on the road....
