I have no doubt the whole works can take off and go down the road, but stopping that train using Model A brakes even in good condition from a rolling speed of 50 mph is a disaster waiting to happen.

Let's not forget using a diode instead of a coil assembly in the cutout switch mounted on the generator. Henry Ford would definitely approve of that improvement.
