Re: Replacing grease wide 5 front drums

The grease hadn’t seen the light of day for a long time. It was very black and seemed different from modern wheel bearing grease

Replacing grease wide 5 front drums

Re: Shackles? Can I build a set?

I had a front reverse spring made and I would like to have 2” center to center instead of the 1-1/2” center to center shackles to get the shackle angle closer to 45 degrees.
I started out with...

Reamers, what are they for?

I picked up a couple adjustable reamers from a old ford dealership.
Trying to figure out if they fit anything on a old ford car/truck.

One is 1-1/16’” and the other is 1-13/16”
Thanks

1940 3/4 t axles

There is 1940 rear and front axle for sale no rims locally. It has wide 5 drums so I wonder if it is early.
Is there anything on those to save or would fit a 1/2 ton?
Thanks
