Rich b, you hit it on the head. The lock cylinder (key) wasn't quite in the proper position. When I moved the key a bit, the ignition switch worked like a charm!

If it was a CCC truck, it was most likely the cheapest the Gov't could buy. I noticed that the back end of the running board extends just a bit farther on the Chevy but I don't know if that helps...

Choke rod knob is loose

The new choke rod knob I installed on the choke rod has come loose. I tried gluing it on with Seal All but that only worked for a little while.
Any other ideas about glue or other means to hold it...
