Re: 1940 Ford 1/2 ton restoration sequence?

Plan ahead and take your time. I started my 37 truck project in 2005, I tore it all apart and catalogued every part. My taste and plans have changed during the time I have worked on the truck....

Re: 1935 - 1936 Pickup Taillight Brackets

One tail light was all that was required. Ford also pulled parts out of their bin as needed, I have found 34 strike plates used on doors, cast iron tail lamp brackets that fastened under the bed,...

Re: Correct toe board 1936 pickup

If you are going to make some toe boards, I need one for my 37 which would be like Gary mentions. I could trade a rear cab corner.

Re: Merry Christmas from Washington State

GB, a Velie was a car made from 1908 to 1928. It was made by a maternal grandson of John Deere. He went on to make airplanes as well. Interesting story but off topic here.

GB, looks like you are pulled in at the Winthrop barn. Yes some of our steel lasts well. I just found a 1925 Velie that has very good running gear and frame.

I have a bed and the fenders for a platform truck, I'll go measure for you. Platform has Ford script at rear. Started life as a 60 hp 1937. Fenders have grooves for the bed to pass through.

Re: 2020 East West Flathead Reliability Run to Monitor WA

I've been to this show several times and it always brings out some great cars. Maybe 39 Guy will bring out his 40? It shows where he has spent his time.
