One pair of rod bearings, Ford # 48-6211 C I believe this fits 32-38 engines .010 on crank std on rods I pr for one journal.

Have a crankshaft with the only number I find is L 2021, is this just a lot number, no such number in green book. Anyone have any thoughts on this.

They can be painted, use insulating paint, do not put it on to thick and check to make sure amateur does not rub shoes.

Distributor rotor

Rotor on my distributor slides on & off with very little effort, could this come off & cause damage with engine running, stock 59 engine in 48 car. Thanks

Are you using the original one Ford coil or round can, check the voltage coming out of your coil if you are around 4 volts than there is a resister in play

I believe the later round coils have resister built in. Napa should have one,, yes 6 volts will burn your points

Did some more cleaning and re tested left bank. # 5&8 intake leaking from guide sleeve down to lifter bore, canít tell if leak is under guide sleeve or not, have not checked other side seems if it...
