Re: 50 Ford Caster and Camber bushing tools 3089-N, 3046-N

BTW, would anyone know what size wrench(s) is/ are necessary for adjusting the upper and lower eccentric bushings? I don't have current access to measure them myself. Thanks for any additional help.

Re: 50 Ford Caster and Camber bushing tools 3089-N, 3046-N

We did the bottom lip first then worked around to the top. The whole process of setting the glass took about 40-50 min. Putting all three pieces in the rubber made the whole structure somewhat...

Re: 51 Victoria 3 piece rear glass install?

The stainless perimeter pieces went on first, followed by the 2 vertical stainless pieces. The actual glass instillation was definitely a two person job. One on the inside pulling the cord to engage...

Re: 51 Victoria 3 piece rear glass install?

The picture in my previous post shows the passenger side glass in place. Later this was removed and the center window put in place initially. I posted the picture from my phone and meant to show the...

Re: 51 Victoria 3 piece rear glass install?

I did my install in 3 individual pieces. The center section first followed by the side windows. That is different than what was described in the accompanying instructions which recommended putting...

Re: Vin location on a 1951 Ford Custom Deluxe Club Coupe

The serial number is stamped on the frame rail in a couple of places. It matched the number on the firewall plate on my car.

Re: Trouble shoot 1950 8Ba initial start up Help

Another thing to consider, in addition to those ideas already mentioned, is the primary resistance in the coil. This is assuming that you have retained the original 6 volt system. The coils sold by...

Re: 1951 Ford Victoria Headliner

I was referring only to the 1951 Ford Victoria in the above post. The headliner, in this instance, does in fact need to be installed with the glass removed. On other models, that may not be necessary.

Re: 1951 Ford Victoria Headliner

One other thing to keep in mind is that to replace the headliner you need to remove and replace the three piece rear window. Been there, done that. It is a bit of a challenge.
