Thanks. That's what I was looking for, i.e., confirmation that a tire spec'd for 5" - 6" wide wheels would work O.K. on a 1935 Ford wheel which is only 4" wide. I don't want the tires popping off...

For my '29 Tudor I want to use a set of 1935 16" wheel and the wheel diameter is 4", as everyone knows. In shopping for radial tires for my 16" wheels, Coker has some nice Excelsior Stahl Sport...
