This is what Carroll Shelby (yes,that one) did to fit a side mount in his sport coupe.As long as the 19 is close in diameter..but even if it isnt,its a spare,it'll get you to a shop.

Yup,I sure do...my lord what will become of me when my 50 buck tires wear out over 20,000 miles..I have to sell my model a for "conduct unbecoming a cheapskate'

You will be fine with the bigger size.The load rating plus the wide footprint means modern radials on an A have an easy life,even with some sidewall deflection they work fine,the 205/55 16's I use...

Back in the day taller rear tires had really nothing to do with stance,hotrodders were after road speed,big tires gave you 'hotrod overdrive'. Randy,thats a beautiful roadster..

205/55/16 front
215/70/16 rear

F100 steering box.fronts at 50 psi to 'crown' them a little .reducing steering effort.
