Re: 16" Wheels
Right now I really like the looks of these 16" tires/wheels on my 30 Huckster but I am definitely keeping the 19" tires and wheels in case I want to change back.
I did try the 16"...

Re: 16" Wheels
I know it is overkill for a 50-60 mph car, but since a buddy of mine has all of the equipment, I went ahead and Road Force Balanced my 16" Douglas tires and wheels. Glad I had extra wheels since one...

Re: 16" Wheels
I wonder myself. I would probably never notice the difference in the 5/8" taller tire.

Re: 16" Wheels
Paul, I ended up buying USA made Douglas P215/70-16 and P225/70-16 from Walmart. Maybe a little wide for the wheels and 75 aspect ratio would have been better, but it looks and drives fine and the...

Re: 16" Wheels
Anyone ever use a temporary spare tire on a 1935 16" wheel in a fenderwell? I see they make 145/90-16 and 155/90-16 sizes. Put a cover on it and the wheels match what is on the road.

Re: 16" Wheels
Went internet tire shopping. Bought (2)- Douglas P215/70-16 Made In USA for $52.00/each at Walmart. Look pretty good mounted up. Wondering if (2)- matching Douglas P225/70-16 at $61.00/each on the...

Re: 16" Wheels
Pretty much decided on 29" tall P215/75-16 tires. Close to the 29.5" tall 19" tires now on the Huckster.

Re: 16" Wheels
I see where European classic has 6.00-16 and 6.50-16 bias ply tires for $115 and $125 shipped. I already have a set of their 21" tires on my 29 Tudor and they really ride and drive well. This may be...

Re: 16" Wheels
It seems like most of the modern radials in the narrow, taller sizes are for Light Trucks and vans. Seems like that would contribute to a rough ride, but maybe would be better for running tubeless?...

16" Wheels
I am thinking about putting 16" wheels and tires on one of my Model A's. Does anyone regret going with the 16" wheels instead of 19" or 21"? Any drawbacks?
