Thanks, WTSHNN, that big pic looks to be at least 1958 or later based on the Olds in the pic.

Re: good spark at plugs but no Henry jiggle

In my case, I have spark when cranking the engine, but no Henry jiggle.

Is that logical?

Re: Distributor spark plug connectors

Y-Blockhead, what you said makes sense, which begs the question....is one preferable if you don't plan to show the car in a judged event. In essence, is one more durable possibly?

And...

Distributor spark plug connectors

The 1928-1929 cars apparently used a "straight" spark plug connector from the distributor to the spark plugs.

Then for the 1930-1931 cars an "offset end" type spark plug connector was used.

Re: Rotor position at TDC

Thanks....I've cranked the engine trying to start it since dropping the distributor in.

Rotor position at TDC

I swapped out the distributor on my '31 Tudor 12v engine.

Next I was gonna set the timing using the Nu-Rex tool. I am visibly at TDC on #1 piston and get a slight motion on the timing pin...

Re: good spark at plugs but no Henry jiggle

I am not sure of that.

I lost spark, swapped distributor out and now with a different distributor have spark but no Henry Jiggle.

Seems I used to have the Henry jiggle in past times.

In other words, how long would the fuel still be usable without having to drain...

Thx, mass_A_man.....I don't find any 2" cans in wifeys pantry or anything on-line.

Seems to be a rather unique size.

Do you know of one off hand?
