make sure the rod itself is straight and true. Also confirm the arm linkage on the carburetor is not gummied up either.

removing hubs to replace bearings

thanks for all advice and support!
first time removing rear hubs to inspect possible worn out wheel bearings, do I need to back off the brake adjustment to free up all the pads inside ?

Firewall is all part of the cab, cowl, top and rear panel.
mine was a swiss cheese too but I just found grommet hole plugs of various sizes to snap in place and covered with speed shop decals,...

has to be a repop. they came off the line with blue ovals, black in Canada. new repops have red and white options nowadays

I have had Firestones for 22 years. They fit just fine into the side mount wheel well. I'm going with Goodyears in 2024. Gonna try the diamond treads.

Use the one that will operate with the least amount of mending. I dismembered two pitted ones to utilize good springs and rods that had no signs of wear. Takes a lot of patience to fit and adjust if...

with the factory battery support bolts at opposite corners, using the full-frame hold down method I placed shrink tubing around the ends of the two battery cable clamps and have never had any issues...

Of the linkage from firewall to carb with the turn-buckle, trim the longer rod maybe 1/8" to 1/4" shorter to give the pedal more room to achieve full WOT.... since yours is cut already..... that may...
