Are you having issues ? .036 shouldn’t be a big issue, in fact it may give you a hotter spark , some here will disagree BUT do an Internet search for spark intensifiers , that will back me up

Let’s get away from the jiggle for now, an A will run with or without the jiggle. You say you have spark ! at one cylinder or all 4 ? It would be nice to know if all 4 are sparking.

You can get the jiggle but no spark because the points dirty ( high resistance ) it will allow voltage to ground but but with no amperage to power the coil and creat a spark or very weak spark…………...

Intermittent ignition switch, does it turn on and off with a snap or sloppy is bad

A little lub on the cam goes a long way, the rub strip will wear down for several 100 miles until it wears in , it’s not uncommon to adjust the points for about 1000 miles.

Use a parts box lid, not the shiny side, double over the strip of box lid, swipe through the points until the lid is not black from the points. Now check the points gap, .018 - .022
