Where did you find the motor and horn sound together? Sounds pretty good! I went through the process and added a few music ringtones the other day. It took a little while, but it does work.

Bob's picture is correct. They just slide under the tabs with the end of the bullets facing the center screw. That way they are less likely to pull out of the hole on the horn cover.

To answer your question, yes. Mine are hard wired together behind the reflector. The only way you would know is to disassemble the headlight.
This will now be your little secret! :D
