Yes the same FORD bearing part numbers: 68-1225&68-1236 were used in 1939&1940 model FORDS except for trucks Mercury also used the same Bearing part numbers,

Most of the T83 Timken type : TTSP are only available in ACE chinese brand, sometimes wer'e lucky &we can source TIMKEN T83, I'd try United Bearing Company in Texas they'll have them in Timken.

There should be a inner race/split sleeve that fits over the bearing, so as the bearing doesn't wear the shaft, WHY FORD DIDN'T use Timken tapered roller bearings begs disbelief SMH....., defies...

Less wear to minimal wear on the shaft + the bearing (NU type) comes with a inner race,
So that instead of the bearing sitting on the shaft only the inner race/sleeve does therefore eliminating wear.

What you could do/is a inner race that sits on the shaft&the B7121 sits on the inner race/sleeve therefore...

Try a slightly smaller ID belt ,
That way it's sits tightly in the groove,
Also use CRC belt grip to help lubricate the belt.

If you can find,locate&source these following brands: BCA, FAFNIR, FEDERAL, HYATT, L&S ,
Use a dental pick/scribe or " o ring" pick or flat blade screw driver to remove the seal.

The problem is NO ONE is getting them made in the O.E.M./ORIGINAL HYATT style, i.e. with the spiral grooves not even BOWER or RBC were making them with these spiral grooves even the new copies...
