How you're describing the transmission and timing, don't kill anyone. While learning to drive it keep the handbrake lever in the neutral position until you learn the pedals. The handbrake lever filly...

When you get the mat buy an owners manual and a copy of the service manual.

Only pull up when starting with a hand crank.
