46 ford fan loose on spindal

the 46 has fan noise with belt off has a litle movement on fan shaft any after market parts avaible still has oil in hub any help would be apreciated dave

the shake is releasing the pressure plate after that works perfict no vibration at all flywheel balanced new pressure plate and disk

cant get vibration out from standard clutch on a non balenced engine pressure plate macs says 7 lbs off flywheel i have a lightined flywheel on other A has h/h touring engine they left a ridge on...

try tighting water pump nut on the shaft as it will suck air on a hard pull it cured my same problem

wiring 46 ford risister to coil

changed motor from 8 ba to 59 a thought risister reduced voltage to coil but i get 6 vt both sides of risister green bible says .51 max ohms thats what my meter reads set at 1 k am i good to...

i have 3.25 in 46 convertible stock 8 ba runs great no problems with hills lots of model A'S running 327 in stock engins that work well here

my 46 ford conv. the front axle width at backing plats is aproxamatly 1in narrower than the the rear meaured at backing plates same results measuring width outside to outside of tires may wrong...

thanks for the info as far as numbers remaining i only know of 3 yours amir in montreal and i just got one my self i hope the rear corner bracket you copied at hershey worked out....

generator over charging

my 46 with 8 ba charging rate at highway speedis high run with lights is normal had 8 volt battery now new 6volt lots of strength at start up new regulator same result any way of turning generator...
