Re: 36' rear tail pan repair

Ain't that the truth!
Ugh, I do not look forward to this fugly part of the body work;
but you have certainly done an admirable job of it.
Thanks for the tips, and I "tip my hat" to your skills and...

Re: 1936 Phaeton - Indoor cover

back in.....well.....never mind....

Re: Bad rebuilt starter from NAPA

Yep, it's a different world today. I would bet most, if not all of the parts house suppliers, sell cheaper, imported hard parts, especially
starters and alternators. The cores are shipped over by...

Re: Moved to Prineville, Or.

Original facility started in Prineville, in 1952, IIRC...
"God's Country", the locals call it.

Re: Project getting close to the finish line

Yowza; absolutely gorgeous. The contrast of the exterior and
engine colors is beautiful. I'm green with envy.....
(And that stellar grille is making my jeans tight.)

Dang; fresh coffee stains all over my keyboard!
Thanks, Tinker and Rudolph; you made my day!

("Yep, I can make that run..." And I'm worried the engine in
my coupe is stuck after sitting 55yrs....

Re: PNW Flathead Rebuilders

Portland Engine Rebuilders is also a good firm.
They did the hot little flatty in a 34 pickup, recently donated to
our museum (WAAAMuseum.org). Also did a 460 BBF for me
more recently. High...

Re: Dropped axle

ing that 2" is the max due to the wider wishbone. (With a
reversed eye spring, the 3" yield would be about perfect
for me.)

thunk it would have been considered obsolete by then, and they
