I think that you hit it .
My original clutch is 9 inches.
My FW is an early one. The PP mounting holes are blind bore holes, indicating pre war PP
Now I need a 10 in PP for 46-48 59 AB
Or...

Could be a parts combo from the previous owners
I have a later merc block. Took me a couple days to air hammer the pistons out. This block is much, much worse...

Clutch,PP question
I have a 59AB, and I would like to update to a 10 " clutch
Will a 8ba fly wheel,,clutch, & PP fit under the AB bell housing properly?
I have a used 8BA flywheel, & PP that I mocked up, on it...

Updated oil filter system
Gents,
With my 59 an apart for rebuild. I'm interested in a better oil filtration system.
Seems to be info out there, but I'd like a bit more specific info prior to drilling my block
