I agree with 38 coupe. The Deluxe models also had 2 horns while the standard had only one. Appears to be a nice car.

My '51 has a GM box and pump. Not certain of the years. I am away from my car and will be until the middle of April. I do know that it is quite crowded up front with the car being lowered a good...

Ken, I rather suspect that it is just the difference in manufacturing. Perhaps the red cap batteries were meant for a tractor? Mine all had black caps.

As a side note: Back in the day red caps...

No need to empty the tank. When you make the cut in the fuel line....have a pan or jar ready to catch the existing fuel in the line. Usually around a pint or so. Be certain to check the size of...

I agree with DavidG. I purchased a new set of floorboards from Roy Naswics (RIP) years ago and he also recommended the Minwax ebony stain. Had to use 2 or 3 coats to achieve the darker desired...
