I'm jumping in here without reading all the posts. Bored and Stroked is correct, running v-belts backwards on the idler at this extreme angle will be too tough on the belts.

I can tell you how I did my "32". I ran parallel 3/8" copper on the inside of the passenger frame rail. I was able to pass it between the K-member and the frame where I extended to the control...

Ronnie, Isn't the beauty of a vacuum advance it will retard timing when you open up the throttle? Where with mechanical advance you don't have that.
I run the 91 octane non-corn fuel and the plugs...
