Gets smaller and smaller every year. Still fun but not like it used to be when all the 40's parked around the city square. I did pick up some Merc parts at the swap meet today though

I just removed mine to add dual mechanical gauges under the dash. Sad to remove that moon eyes gauge. Nice to see the temp under the hood

The correct dim's are----

Amazon has them but the only dimension listed is 2.5x2.5x0.6 inches. Sound right?
How hard is it to get that old seal out after i remove the pitman arm? Any special tool?

Not long ago I changed out my steering column/gear box for a good tight unit due to screwed up shift linkage in the column.
Before installing it in the car I washed the insides the best I could with...

How does it work? How do I clean it
When I fill it up it gurgles and bobbles out the top when its getting full. And with a full tank it makes the garage smell of gas. When down below full everything...

Thanks guys... Shoe box central. Macs. C&G cables will probably work.? Put the T handle is way to small.
I'm on the hunt for a good used OEM unit. If no luck ill probably have to go with the after...

I have one 6 volt solenoid fused wire to hot side of the starter solenoid, the other terminal of the solenoid to a ground. Messing with it today I broke the OD cable where it mounts to the lever. so...

50 Mercury OD problem
Hi fellas
A good number of years ago my trans developed a chipped 2nd. gear.
So I took it to a old school mechanic here in Atlanta. He took it apart just to tell me "yep" it has a chipped 2nd gear....

Tinker..yes 3 on the tree with OD
But all OD electricals disconnected
Its a stumble between gears. If I ride the clutch it does not do it.
Im thinking it's something in the Holly carb? IDK?...

Cmbrucew wouldn't a vaccum leak be noticeable at idle as well?
I'm going to spray some starting fluid around and see what happens
34pkup are you referring to the kick down switch that takes it out...
