The Montevideo badge isn't the only one out there, I have one also. Price was considerably down a couple atmospheres though. Reasonable but not cheap.

I believe the rubber strips were designed for the Model A wheels with the valve in the center of the drop rim.

Ed, The metal door post cover plate has the two holes in it for the screw heads. After fitting the cover plate onto the wood the two holes locate the screw holes. You might have to oval out the back...

Measured mine and it came out to 49 1/2". There might be some variance as the 1/4 panel is poorly braced at the corner.

Your heater is designed to send the heated air down below the floorboard & up through a vent in the wood floorboard relieving you of cutting a hole in the firewall. I have one like it and it flows...

Saw on the news that tow companies won't let you ride in their truck for a tow so you have to arrange for your personal transportation. Don't know if true or industry wide.

I do a bit like "Dave55Sedan", bent a finish nail 90" and with a pair of vice grips , aim the can into my wastebasket & poke it till it sprays. I also built a spray can shaker: a piece of angle iron....

You might measure the distance between the opposing contacts in both caps to see if they are the same, might give you another reference point , once you have measured with the original cap.

You might try and source some soft leather glove material, I've seen some very thin & flexible.
