Using GL-4 85W90. Been in there a long time. Are there magnetic drain plugs available to fit a '48 transmission?

Changing the transmission gear oil in my '48, noted microscopic steel flakes in the old oil. Total amount was less than a half thimble full. No operational problems. Oil not blackened. Is this a sign...
