1936 rear window seal
I'm looking for a rear window lower seal for a 1936 3 window coupe. The car has a wind-down window which functions as it should. It had no seal at all but should there be? Or is it intended that the...

Re: 34 Cabriolet top iron; bent or not
Sorry Graham but I no longer have my Cabriolet so I can't measure anything from it. Perhaps there's someone here that has a Cabriolet and could quote you the length of the bow?

Re: 34 Cabriolet top iron; bent or not
That makes perfect sense; the padding is really heavy and would certainly not fit without the bend. My friend is very IT challenged so I doubt whether I'd get another photo off him but I feel that...

34 Cabriolet top iron; bent or not
I'm asking for a friend who's putting together a 1934 Ford Cabriolet. I used to own one a few years back but I have no recollection of how this top bow looked and my friend is now wondering should...

Re: 1934 ford windshield header panel
SAR panel is blank without any holes. I was lucky to source one so I'm not complaining. :)
I have a Sedan Delivery and that's the first of my '34s to have had a header panel (in all others it had...

Re: 1934 ford windshield header panel
I'm sort of hijacking this thread because my question concerns a SAR header panel.
I had mine delivered recently but before strating installation I'd like to know (and see pics) how it's...

Re: 4 Years, finished the '34 Three Window
That's a stunner.
I see that you've used a luggage rack at the rear. Could you or someone please post pics on how and where you attach it on the car? I have short bumper braces so would those...

Re: 34 roadster luggage rack
I'm not intending to hijack this thread but could someone please explain or show a photo of how exactly does the rack bolt on (?) to the car? Is it a bolt-on application or are you required to drill...

Re: 34 Cabriolet; how was it in 1934?
Greetings from Finland - literally a world away from other '34 Cabriolets ;)
The Phaeton/Roadster wing nuts fit although they need to be shortened. No big fuss and they do the job.
The car's...

Re: 34 Cabriolet; how was it in 1934?
The Cabriolet's slowly coming together and a new top was fitted last week.
I seem to have permanently misplaced the wing nuts that hold the top down on top of the windshield frame/A pillars....

Re: MAC's Auto Parts.
This is turning out to be a great thread with so many tips on new (at least new to me) vendor names and websites. Living across the pond makes ordering and waiting for the parts to arrive seem like a...

I thought I'd share a view of the car with you all. It looks a lot better than what it did in 2012 don't you think?
If anyone's a good hint on...

Re: 34 Cabriolet; how was it in 1934?
Things have progressed. The car spent 11 months at the bodyshop and I've continued where they left off. Yesterday I got the fenders ready for the painters and now I'm looking for the colour code for...

Re: Leaners...You guys hate leaners...?
I don't take my cars to shows because of the constant groping that's going on when I turn my back. Do people desperately need to experience the feel of a painted metal surface? It's smooth - what...

Re: 1933-1934 cowl patch panels?

However I'm sure he's not prepared to make overseas calls (my assumption based on the fact that usually people in the US avoid calling anyone not in their country) so I'll just...

Re: 1933-1934 cowl patch panels?

Re: 34 Cabriolet; how was it in 1934?

I'll PM you the name of the dealer once I'll find it. I bought...

Re: 34 Cabriolet; how was it in 1934?
The car was bought off a dealer so I've no idea who's to blame for this mess. It's also exported and no longer in the US so whoever did this got away with it.
I'm having someone make me new...
