leaf spring add-a-leaf kit

I am not sure why we are worried about running a 6 volt battery. They were used for a long time. You only need a 12 volt if you are going to run a lot of electronics.

Trans trouble
I have a 1953 ford with a fordomatic trans. It will not shift down when stepping on the throttle for passing. It shifts into 3rd at 30 miles per hour. Any suggestions?

Rough idle
I have a stock 239 v/8 that idles rough. If I pull the cake out a little it smooths out. I have tried adjusting the mixture screws. It does't seem to make any difference. I can screw one all the way...
