Was there a diffident answer regarding the filling of that water jacket hole? I read through the post and didn't see anything regarding why it is filled. Better cooling?

Shocks difference

Hello all,


I noticed the shocks on my 1941 Ford Car has similar shocks as my 1931 Model A. Are they the same? Rated differently? What are the differences if any?

Sounds like a Bell 47? Must have been a very bumpy lateral until all the moisture dissipated and allowed the rotor blades to track properly...


Performed many T/B on Bell's over the years.

I believe it is a genuine sale. The seller I purchased the truck came from Illinois. He gave me several new parts that still had the seller he purchased the truck from.

Bob C, I have the characteristics of the '30- '31 model A, but there is just certain things that point to an early '30 model A. The thing is, the truck was titled with the state as a 1931.

I guess after looking closer I think I have a Model TT Long Bed, not a Model AA bed. I am really not quite sure what I have. I just know its long and looks like a Model AA or TT...
