My suggestion is to swap out the carb with the other one you have. That way you’ll know if your original thought of replacing the fuel pump is warranted.

The transmission on my 50’s Mercury is a side loader (column shift). The trans appears short. How can you identify a transmission with an overdrive?

Good looking 53. Actually, that year Ford was the first Ford I ever rode in. A few years later my family bought a 57 convertible with a 312 automatic and a Town and Country radio.

I have a Miller mig. So far no real reason to buy a Tig. I too am having trouble seeing out of my HF helmet. Any suggestions on what to buy?
