Did the early 239 Y Block have 18mm spark plugs, or, 14mm? Heard it both ways. I argue this once a week. Please, someone put this to bed. Thanks.

The engine came out of a 55 F 100. All I have is the engine and the 3 sp tranny.

I have a 1954/55 truck WSM, and just the engine and transmission, and the only things I can determine is that my EBV engine is a Truck engine, with the High mount cooling fan, double groove pully, AF...

Thanks, I will take a look. I've always been a Mercury fan. Took my driving test in a red and white 1957 Mercury convertable.

I know where I can get a double groove, but the only problem is my fan and water pump belt is 13/16 in. wide and my alternator belt is narrow. both of the grooves on the new pulley are the same,...

The belt grooves are worn and the pulley rims have worn to a sharp edge. everything else looks good. I will check out these links and see what they say. Certainly appreciate the advice.
