Re: Warford in the Way of Removing Hogshead.

I was able to move the engine forward with an engine hoist just enough to get the hogshead off without the shaft separating. I found a broken quick release band and another band that had broken...

Re: Warford in the Way of Removing Hogshead.

Re: Warford in the Way of Removing Hogshead.

It's the front of the Warford transmission that is in the way. I wish it was the tower. The center bolt of the springs appears to bolt to the crossmember of the frame.

Re: Fan Belt Slips Off

I'll check the center alignment of the pulleys. I'm concerned about how close the belt is to the timer.

Re: Fan Belt Slips Off

I noticed a set screw on the water pump pulley. I will try adjusting it and see if it stays on better.

Fan Belt Slips Off

The fan belt on my Runabout keeps slipping off. I've tried tightening and loosening but still slips off. What is causing that?

Re: Learning To Drive a Model T

That's the first I've heard of 55-PSI. I'll do it. I installed the lint screen in the transmission inspection cover.
I will try the "Stomp" method of launching. I will practice this using three...

Trouble Shooting Ignition

I'm new to Model T's. I'm trying to get my coils to buzz. They buzzed for a while and then quit. I have 6v at the contacts. I'm looking for basic Model T ignition trouble shooting procedures.

Re: Brass T Battery Back In The Day

A battery similar to this one? But it's only 1.5v. Are there any concerns with it being so close to the gas tank?

I did a search for Warford and didn't find too much relating to Model T. Is Warford an overdrive?
