As per the heading what oil or grease is used for the bearings and how often? I used a good quality grease, but it didn't last (bearing got hot). The belt was not too tight. Thanks in advance and...

Trico vacuum wiper

I am rebuilding a wiper motor for my 36-5 window. Should i be able to blow or suck through this valve "governor" no matter which way the knurled knob is turned? If not where can I get one?

I can get sealed bearings for the input and output shafts on my 36 trans. Has anyone used these and would you remove the inner seal for extra lubrication from the trans oil? I know there is a drain...

I have aluminum heads and never thought about the reaction with copper. Why would you use grease on the composite. Never found a need on any motors we have already done.

In your wise fordbarn opinion which is better copper or graphtite?
I have used graphtite gaskets on heavy duty diesels with good success but never copper on anything.
Love fordbarn keep up the good...
