41 to 47 coe truck colors

Does any one know the factory colors for the 41 thru 47 coe trucks that ford made. A friend of mine is trying to paint his 41 cab over engine dump truck plastic model for a high end train platform....

I got my replacement single pole sensor today and will try to install it tomorrow. I will take new lazor readings and also see what the dash gauge reads. I think my last lazor readings were 164 on...

OK- The lazor gun tells me the engine is not overheating. I removed the thermostates and it is still the same. I ordered a new single pole temp sensor and when I test that I will let you fokes know....

The first thing I am going to do is try a lazor pointer that I gust picked up to make sure it is not overheating. I did try bypassing the double pole sensor before by connecting both wires on one...

OK-- I took it for a ride today and it's back to where it was. The temp gauge went up to normal then down to (below cold) all the way to the left, then it went up to 3/4 and then back down. Rich

OK -- the wires were crossed, it seen to have seteled down and working. I will take it for a ride later and see for sure. Thanks all Rich.

Thanks for all the help--Based on the information you ford lovers have given me I am going to connect it up as a voltmeter. The diagram given me from REBEL WIRE indicated an ammeter and I wired it up...
