French Flathead oil filter canister

Here is the French aluminum oil filter canister.Last pis shows how it was mounted on the V860 but its a steel one.I was unable to add this to my original post on the 19th.

Ah okay DD. If the remains of the key is intact a key maybe be cut from that also if a code can be pulled off the cuts.If not The cyl will still have to be removed to have a key cut or take the car...

Since the key is broken off the lock cyl will have to be removed.I have tried with dental pics with no success.

I sold a spare pair of NOS 15 yrs ago for over $100. They are cloth reinforced have tapered edges and the Firestone "F" logo on them.

'32 std and dlx choke and throttle rod knobs are the same color(brownish maroon).None are black.

"T" style. All the repos are terrible. Sharp edges and soft rubber.Don't slide easy and end up folded in the door jamb.Hunted and found original NOS but that was 20 yrs ago.

If you have or are using the original spark plug wire tubes - on the right side it might be a tight fit to install that sender.

Regarding the horn.It will be very loud and eventually burn out. Happened to a friend in the 1970's.Putting in a concealed voltage drop might help.
