You don’t need to drill the pinch bolt completely out. I drill a line of 1/16 in holes across the face and use a screwdriver to screw them out. I reuse the bolts.

35 Transmission

Rebuilt trans missin . Clean as can be inside, Painted. Fresh chromed shift lever. Missing clutch releas parts and the rear mount/retainer. No shipping

You can by gear oil for Ford transmissions and rear ends at Tractor Supply. It is gr1. It is stated on the bottle. My trans shifted a lot better with it.
It is really cheap. I think $13 for 2 gal....

Parts from a 32 shell

I have a 32 shell that I want to repair. The lower sides were cut to fit a channeled car and it has rust out on the top right corner. It is nice otherwise. Maybe someone has a really bad repo shell...

I just took off a pair from some early Lincoln brakes. The wheel cylinder push rods had folded over ends so they couldn't get loose from the shoes.

I found an old Chevy pick up box laying in the dirt.
I picked it up and was surprized that it not only turned but was smooth as glass with to slop at all. Perfectly tight.
Chevy used the same side...

You can not buy relacement drums for the outside mount hubs. You would have to buy hubs and drums if your drums are not usable. This is a nice in tolerance usable drum. The brake surface was coated...

Press fit and also keyed. They have a very tight press fit. The key is for indexing. You can cut the worm to remove it but do not cut the shaft.

AutoZone offers several sizes of tie rod boots. They are sized to the diameter of the shank. I found them online.

I have always drilled a series of 1/16” holes across the head and used a screwdriver. You end up with a usable original bolt.
