Put an open cookie sheet with used coffe grounds on it - that will take away the mouse-house smell.
THEN - put a bar of Irish Spring soap under the seat & under the hood - that'll keep the varmits...

I'd suggest to use Irish Spring Soap, one bar under the hood, one under the seat & one in the trunk - that'll keep the mice from nesting in your vehicle.
