Set the initial timing at 17-18 Deg. That will get you in the ball park. The "B" distributor only has about 12-13 Deg. of mechanical advance. The mechanical plus the initial will give you about 30...

Yes, you are correct, early '30 roadsters could have brass lower stanchions.

I do not like to use the brass stanchions as I have found the mounting screw holes can be lobbed out. The steel ones...

Choke butter fly may not be closing all the way when you pull up on the choke. It has to close all the way or you will not get enough "suck" to pull gasoline up into the intake.

The door hinges are Roadster and I think also standard pheaton and roadster PU.
31 lower stations are all steel. Windshield posts are Stainless steel.

Yes, you can use 32 posts on a 30, 31 and use a 30, 31 Deluxe windshield frame.

30, 31 Deluxe posts are same length as all 32.

Tom's EVR's work great.
Your generator is converted to a 2 brush and his EVR is a true regulator of the field current.

If you do not clean the engine it will just plug up a clean radiator.
I use Rust911 rust911.com A lot cheaper than Evaporust and does the same thing.

While all frames were supposed to be stamped at the factory, some did not get stamped so if you have a frame with no numbers, it still may be original to that car.
