Like Jack and others, I don't use any sealer type stuff unless I have to. I like 3Bond at the water pumps, etc. I mostly work on old motorcycles, use copper head gaskets- these always get coppercoat....

What Kube said, been using Permatex coppercoat for 50 years. But I ain't putting it on any more Felpro composition head gaskets!
