old uglyIf you wanted to use a rack you could put blocks to fill the gap between the top and bottom of rack. I'm thinking like 1 3/4". Just a thought, if it would be easier.

old ugly - I think your trunk is looking really nice! I did however measure my trunk rack which I don't see in your picture. Mine is 34 1/2" wide!

pjdeb - Maybe an oz. in each cylinder but won't hurt if a little more!
Container says ADD 4 oz. MMO to 10 Gals. of gas, is what I do when filling up!

As to the long studs I would cut them to the same length that the other drums have installed. FIRST I would install a nut (I don't know is the lug nut would be to high) but a nut of the same thread....

I have just done all that "goodcar" suggested PLUS had the end of the axles rebushed. BOTH sides were elongated! In my opinion with what I had the King Pins can move even with the locking...
