If you put '38-39 drums on your '36 you can use '36-39 wheels and the original '36 hub caps.
When I originally put hydraulic brakes on my '36 in 1952 I used the brake system from a '41, drums and...

For many years the Roadway Trucking Co, a very large interstate company's standard color scheme was a orangish-yellow and a purple-blue combination.
