V8 60 Oil pump pickup tube
We've been trying to rebuild this for an old raceboat I bought 10 years ago. It's been in three shops and still not done. We are missing the oil pomp pickup tube
.Can anyone help?

Yes I think it is an "assigned" number. It is all steel. I am trying to get in touch with the owner.

I'm looking at a 1932 Vicky that is showing a vin of BCS 2671. Checking Van Pelt and other info, I cannot make sense of this. What am I missing?

My experience has been that the retailer submits the credit to the credit card company, but the credit card company holds off before posting the credit to the cardholder. Not the retailers fault.

In 49 the "hardtop convertible" was born, as it simulated the convertible look. A 2 door or later a 4 door with no post. It has just been shortened to "hardtop" through the years.

Also check the length of the lower studs on the block. While refitting aluminum heads to a "new" 60 block, we found that those studs were not long enough to give sufficient length for the nut. They...

"Clear Penetrating Epoxy" is what it is called. Commonly used by wooden boat restorers. Jamestown Distributers sells it. Several apps to warm wood seems
to work best for me.

I would be very careful with a private hauler! To save $200 or so is not worth the risk to me. I have used Reliable many times and never been disappointed
